I have a keen interest in photography and nearly always carry my camera with me. I am fascinated by the image and how it can represent a place, person or object, whether heavily edited or completely natural. Sky Arts Sting
BRIEF: Create a 10-second sting for Sky Arts channel. RESPONSE (ON-GOING): My response is mixed-media, combining various forms of lighting in a backstage environment. My concept is to give the aesthetics of the theatre a contemporary feel in order to attract a newer, younger audience, as well as the current, more elitist audience.  The letterforms are hidden amongst objects of the same...

Barney Bubbles
BREIF: Produce a 3D paper sculpture which responds to one item in the Barney Bubbles Exhibition at Chelsea Space. RESPONSE: I found an interesting symbol on a poster which I made into a 3D object, but I also added a visual grid within the work to emphasise the hand-drawn grids that Bubbles used within his work to make precise geometrical shapes.

BRIEF: Create a visual response to a random artifact: a stuffed tigers head. RESPONSE: My first thoughts on the artifact were that it was quite disturbing, and I wondered where it had come from. My response is a print image of a tiger which is quite beautiful when seen from a distance, but closer up it becomes apparent that it is made up of knives. This gives an idea of how it may have ended...
