Sky Arts Sting
BRIEF:
Create a 10-second sting for Sky Arts channel.
RESPONSE (ON-GOING):
My response is mixed-media, combining various forms of lighting in a backstage environment. My concept is to give the aesthetics of the theatre a contemporary feel in order to attract a newer, younger audience, as well as the current, more elitist audience.
The letterforms are hidden amongst objects of the same colour and style, and are only revealed when the lights are switched on.
PLANNING:
This is an on-going project which has required a lot of planning and experimentation. It is extremely important to get the location, props and general styling correct in order to communicate the right idea. Below are original storyboards for the sting.
