Past Work

A selection of work from university briefs.

Photographs for V Festival Posters, 2009

Helvetica decorated, 2009 - a very open brief to illustrate Helvetica however I choose.

Pitt Rivers Museum, 2010 - a poster depicting dolls from various periods throughout history to reflect the unusual categorizing method of the museum (similar objects are placed together instead of those from the same period). The dolls are pencil rubbings of various textures to emphasise the variety of each type of object as well as the sketches many make when visiting the museum.

Re-visiting your childhood - a pitch to make a publication about childhood dreams and creativity, 2010

An exploration of second skin, 2010. looking at ways a skin can function, such as protection or beauty.

Exhibit your Digit, 2010 - A challenge to create an exhibition based purely on donations. We, (a small group of five) managed to obtain for free: sponsorship from Tiger beer (1000 free bottles), a venue in Kingly Court for a week, and several donations from designers and celebrities, such as Pentagram, Jon Burgerman, Reggie Yates, and John Snow. The donations of art work were auctioned off and we raised about £250 for charity. Attempting to obtain donations and organising the event in a sort period of time, was not without many obstacles and was an extremely good lesson in communication!
